Description
Samoa Assemblies of God consists of American Samoa (U. S. Territory) and Samoa (independent). American Samoa has 66,628 residents and independent Samoa has 188,540 residents. Samoa consists of two districts, one for each of the Samoas.
The Assemblies of God is the largest Pentecostal church as well as the fastest growing church in Samoa.
World Samoa Assemblies of God fellowship has over 300 churches in Samoa, American Samoa, New Zealand, Australia, and the United States mainland as well as Hawaii and Alaska.
Samoa will begin its missionary sending program in February 2010. Our vision is to send missionaries to other island countries and other parts of the world as the Lord leads.
The Assemblies of God in Samoa has three Bible colleges, 102 pastors and 18,000 adherents.
Executive Leadership
Dr. Tavita Pagaialii is a second generation General Superintendent of Samoa. He was elected General Superintendent in 2005 after serving eight years as General Secretary.
