Description
There are over 1,510 Pentecostal churches around Ukraine with 104,000 members. More than 1,300 pastors supported by 1,600 deacons serve in the congregations.
Social ministry of Pentecostal churches is very developed: local churches run 42 rehabilitation centers, 16 orphanages, 4 elderly people homes and ministry in 58 prisons. There are over 38,500 children involved in Sunday schools, where over 3,520 teachers serve them.
Media ministry provides over 20 radio programs, 11 TV programs, 34 newspapers and 2 magazines.
Our intention is to work even more in external mission and social programs. Youth Ministry department provides annual youth congress with over 7,000 participants, developing their callings and gifts to spread Good News to the end of the Earth.
The Union is an active member of The Ukrainian Council of Churches and Religious organizations, an institution that has the highest level of authority and trust among institutions in the Ukrainian community.
Ukraine is a missionary country. We sent over 300 missionaries, mostly to Russia, Bulgaria, Poland, etc.
