Hong Kong (Ecclesia Ministries Limited) – Participating Member
Description
Ecclesia Ministries Limited (EML) is the recognized equivalent Assemblies of God General Council of Hong Kong. It is a consortium of Assemblies of God churches and church groups. Ministries of EML include the Ecclesia Bible College (EBC). EBC is a residential Bible College that also has local extensions in several Assemblies of God churches in Hong Kong. Additionally EML-related churches are involved in a number of educational and compassion ministries throughout the city, and missions outreaches beyond Hong Kong.
Hong Kong is a Special Administrative Region (SAR) of the People’s Republic of China. As an SAR, Hong Kong has a unique relationship to China, providing for a mainland-supervised local governance structure. This provides enhanced opportunities for local church organizations.
Executive Leadership
A Board of Directors comprised of the leadership of member entities leads Ecclesia Ministries Limited. Rev. Titus Poon serves as the Chairman of the Board and General Superintendent. Rev. Poon also serves on the Executive Council of the World Assemblies of God Fellowship and as the Chairman of World Assemblies of God Relief and Development Agency.
